I just received my weekly box of produce from this service in my area called FarmerFreshToYou.net. I LOVE FarmerFresh. It was started by these two women after they lost their jobs. I don’t just love it because of that, of course. I love it because it’s local, organic produce delivered to your door for about the price you’d pay if you went and shopped for it. I’ve found that even kids can taste the difference too. More than once, one of my son’s friends has asked me where I got a particular orange or pear. The stuff is that good. Anyhow, today I came home and the box was here. I started pulling things out and was struck by how gorgeous some of the items are. Flowers are great, but so are green onions and artichokes.
